How Diversity Defines a Dynamic Unity
“…geometry is a richer treasure house of more interesting and half-forgotten things, which a hurried generation has no leisure to enjoy…” —E. T. Bell, Mathematician
Scientists, philosophers, theologians, and mystics have long sought to understand how one thing could possibly define everything. For me, geometry, considered by some to be ‘sacred’, was the most fundamental path forward in the quest to determine if and how the Mereon Matrix might offer such a soul satisfying solution.
These videos repeat a lesson most of us did in the 8th grade, learning to understand the basics of geometry. It presents seven simple forms, the five ‘regular’ Platonic solids, and the two ‘semi-regular’ Kepler solids. ‘Regular’ means that all the edge lengths defining a form are the same; while ‘semi-regular’ means there are two different lengths.
The 2nd video shows a static perspective of the Mereon Matrix, the vertices making it clear where all seven of the fundamental geometric forms ‘fit’ and ‘belong’. The animation inside the outline, reveals how the system ‘breathes’, the path of motion defining five co-operative, interacting Mereon Knots.
