Controlling the Flow
Many years ago, a country that shall not be named came up with what they thought was a great idea to control the flow of water across the country. The idea? To straighten out the small creeks and rivers that meandered across the vast rural countryside.
Picking a fight with Mother Nature led to decades of wasted man-hours, time, and money. After years of attempting to keep things straight, the government admitted they’d picked a battle they were incapable of winning and the walls built to constrain the flow were removed, and the water was allowed to do what water does, meander.
Think about the Flow of Time, and dare to imagine what your life might be if you understood that Time cannot be managed or controlled.
